ALERT: Health Insurance Exchange Needs Your Help

Either we set it up the way we want, or the federal government does it for us.

TODAY: Please contact the members of the House Insurance and Commerce Committee and tell them to vote FOR House Bill 2138. It would allow Arkansas to set up our own health insurance exchange under the federal Affordable Care Act.

AACF supports the bill because it gives us the tools to design a health care system that works best for all Arkansans. The state needs to take advantage of the local control that the Affordable Care Act gives states. We can set up our own insurance exchange that addresses our unique issues and opportunities.

This bill allows the state to put the right rules and systems in place-with advice from consumers-to deliver quality, affordable, dependable care to our children and families.
