Shanara Brown joined Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families as Finance and Administration Director in June 2024. Shanara brings a diverse background in administrative and management roles. She previously served as the Administrative Office Secretary at the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District, where she supported building administrators and managed the front office of the high school. Her expertise extends to property management, having worked as the District Manager at Bloom Management Inc. overseeing the operations of several multi-family apartment communities. This role was built upon years of experience in corporate leasing, resident relations, maintenance supervision, and back office financial operations including detailed bookkeeping and accounting.

In addition to property management, Shanara has worked as an Account Specialist at Goldstone Financial Group, handling client relations and financial transactions. Early in her career, she also gained valuable experience in corporate billing at USAble Life, working with major accounts and maintaining invoice accuracy.

She enjoys RVing and camping with her family, gardening, and cooking.
