AACF has a new health care policy director. Marquita Little, currently director of policy and planning in the director’s office at the Arkansas Department of Human Services, will be joining the AACF team in mid-September. She succeeds Anna Strong, who recently left AACF to become executive director of child advocacy and public health at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Marquita has been actively involved in the department’s health care reform and ACA implementation efforts, as well as the Payment Improvement Initiative. Marquita is a graduate of Hendrix College and the master’s program at the University of Arkansas, Clinton School of Public Service. She will be a strong addition to the AACF policy and advocacy team. We couldn’t be more excited to have her on board.
