Join Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families for a hands-on training designed to equip you with the tools you need to become an advocate for children and families in Arkansas. Whether you are new to the legislative process, looking to refine your advocacy skills, or want to learn how to share your personal experiences at the Arkansas Legislature, this Advocacy and Storytelling 101 training will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to make your voice heard.

In this interactive session, you will:

Learn the art of storytelling: Discover how to craft compelling personal stories that resonate with lawmakers, decision-makers, and the public. Learn how to weave your lived experiences into powerful narratives that can spark change.

Build advocacy skills: Gain techniques for communicating with legislators, staying involved in the legislative process, and raising awareness on critical issues facing children and families in Arkansas.

Learn the legislative process: Understand how laws are made in Arkansas, how you can use your personal experiences to influence policy decisions, and what to expect in the 2025 session.
