PURPOSE: To promote, protect and unify the interests of the children and families of Arkansas.

  • A grassroots lobbying organization
  • A resource of information about children
  • An independent, strong voice for children
  • A public education tool
  • Diverse but unified
  • Recognized and credible

  • Post-legislative Conference
  • Lobbying training
  • Public forums and tele-conferences
  • Legislative tracking
  • Legislative alerts by e-mail
  • Legislative strategy sessions
  • Recognition of outstanding child advocates

MEMBERSHIP:

Organizational membership is not open to government agencies.

Organizational Supporting Member
$300 minimum
Benefits include five free passes to workshops; name listed on Kids Count letterhead; receipt of all Kids Count notices, updates and reports; link exchange between Web sites

Organizational Regular Member
$150 minimum

Benefits include three free passes to workshops; name listed on Kids Count letterhead; receipt of all Kids Count notices, updates and reports; link exchange between Web sites

Organizational Special Member
$75 + $75 inkind contributions

Benefits include three free passes to workshops; name listed on Kids Count letterhead; receipt of all Kids Count notices, updates and reports; link exchange between Web sites

Individual Member
$35

Benefits include receipt of all Kids Count meeting and workshop notices; reduced rates for workshops and forums
